🌸The Spice Girls
Female-only chicks • A colourful mix of egg shades
The Spice Girls are a specialty sex-linked offering developed at Roslin Poultry Ranch for customers who want the convenience of knowing they are bringing home female chicks. This group brings together selected genetics chosen for colourful egg production, with the potential for a variety of green, olive and brown egg shades.
The Spice Girls are sold as female-only day-old chicks, making them a convenient choice for backyard keepers who are looking to build a colourful laying flock without purchasing straight-run chicks.
About The Spice Girls
The Spice Girls are a specialty sex-linked chick offering developed at Roslin Poultry Ranch. This project brings together selected breeding genetics to produce chicks that can be sexed by their appearance at hatch, allowing us to offer female-only day-old chicks.
The goal is to combine the convenience of sex-linked chicks with the colourful egg genetics found throughout our breeding program. As the project continues to develop, The Spice Girls may produce a range of green, olive and brown egg shades, with a potential for speckling and individual birds varying in both appearance and egg colour.
Because The Spice Girls are offered as a specialty chick group rather than a standardized breed, each season can bring a unique mix of characteristics to the flock.
Good to Know:
Spice Girls are available as female-only day-old chicks only. This line is not offered as hatching eggs or started pullets.
The Spice Girls are offered as a group and cannot be personalized or selected individually. They are available with our chicks at the time of availability, based on the birds produced from each hatch.
