OUR CHICKENS

At Roslin Poultry Ranch, we are committed to raising healthy, well-cared-for birds and maintaining thoughtfully selected breeding programs. Our chickens are raised with attention to nutrition, flock management, breed characteristics and overall quality.

Commitment to Health & Nutrition

We believe that good nutrition and responsible flock management are important foundations for healthy birds. Our breeding flocks are provided with a complete poultry diet and carefully managed living conditions designed to support their overall health and well-being.

Our knowledge and experience in poultry nutrition also extends to the birds we raise for our hatching eggs, day-old chicks and started pullets.

Biosecurity

Biosecurity is an important part of protecting our flock and helping reduce the risk of introducing or spreading poultry diseases.

At Roslin Poultry Ranch, we take practical biosecurity measures to protect the health of our breeding birds and the birds that leave the Ranch for their new homes.

Because Canada does not have an NPIP program equivalent to the United States, maintaining strong on-farm biosecurity practices is especially important to us.

Explore Our Breeds

Our breeding program includes established purebred breeds and specialty breeding lines, each selected for its own unique characteristics.

Purchasing Chicks & Started Pullets

Moving chicks and started pullets to a new environment can be a period of adjustment. We provide information and support to help customers give their new birds a smooth transition to their new home.

Chick' N Vitamin+ is also available as an optional add-on with the purchase of chicks or started pullets.
