🌱 About Our Started Pullets
At Roslin Poultry Ranch, we raise a limited number of started pullets (8 weeks old) each season for customers who prefer young, healthy, well-started birds—without the challenges of brooding day-old chicks or incubating hatching eggs.
Because we intentionally keep our grow-out space small, availability is seasonal and limited. This allows us to give each bird the proper care, space, and attention they deserve.

❌ No pre-orders or reservations for the 2027 season
Instead, we will raise small batches throughout the spring and summer and make pullets available as they reach 8 weeks of age.
As a courtesy, we post anticipated pullet availability dates on our Pullet Availability Page.
These dates are a general guide only and may change.

* 8 - week old pullets are offered by reservation only.
* Price: $60 per pullet
* $20 non-refundable deposit per pullet is required to secure your reservation.
* Reservations are intended for breeders seeking these birds for breeding programs or genetic selection.
* Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive pickup instructions and remaining balance details.
Cockerels - Available by Request
* Cockerels are available at $15 per bird.
* No deposit is required.
* Availability is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

SPECIALTY BREED -Barred Whiting True Blue pullets are offered as a breeding tool for customers interested in creating sex-linked offspring when bred to an appropriate gold-feather-based rooster. They also retain the blue-egg genetics associated with the Whiting True Blue line.
