At Roslin Poultry Ranch, we raise a limited number of started pullets each season. Because we maintain a small, well-managed grow out space to ensure proper care and attention, availability is limited and varies throughout the season.
For the 2026 season, we have updated our process to keep things simple, fair and manageable for our farm:
How Our Started Pullets Are Offered
* We will not be taking pre-orders or be maintain a waiting list.
* Pullets are raised in small batches and posted only when they reach 8 weeks old.
* Availability will begin in April through until September/October. There will be a group of grow-outs available every month. There will be 7 groups throughout the season.
* Breed availability will change from batch to batch.
We recommend having a few different breeds in mind.
Pullet Care Information:
At pickup, you will receive a Pullet Care Guide outlining the feed they have been eating, waterer type recommendations, tips for flock integration and Biosecurity information.
Optional Pickup Day Add-On:
Chick' N Vitamins will be available for purchase on pick up day to help reduce transportation and transition stress.

Pickup Window: April 5–6
Notes: The Whiting True Blue Barred Specialty Line is intended primarily for breeders and may be used to create future sex-linked chicks in breeding programs.
Laying Hens
Very rarely do we have laying hens available. If we do, it is because we are changing out our breeding stock and they would be over a year old.
If we happen to have some available it would be in late summer.
We will post any hens we have available below.
We will not be making a waiting list for hens.
