This single handmade nest box curtain panel is designed as an add-on or replacement for your existing nesting setup. Perfect for customizing your coop, it allows you to add extra coverage where needed or expand beyond a standard 3-box setup.
 
Nest box curtains help create a more private, sheltered laying environment that supports your hens’ natural instincts. By softening light and reducing distractions, they can encourage calmer nesting behavior and more consistent egg laying.
 
Each curtain panel measures approximately 3” wide by 17” long, making them the ideal size for standard nest box openings. Each panel is individually handmade, and fabric patterns will vary based on availability.

Hanging Options:
 
Each nest box curtain panel is sewn with a fabric rod pocket along the top edge, allowing a rod, dowel, or similar support to be inserted for hanging.
 
Curtains may be installed in a variety of ways depending on your nesting box setup, including:
• Small wooden dowels or rods inserted through the rod pocket
• Lightweight curtain rods
• Cable ties or other hardware attached to a support rod
• Self-adhesive hook-and-loop (Velcro®-style) strips
 
Optional self-adhesive hook-and-loop strips are available for customers who prefer a simple, no-drill installation method. Select this option when ordering if desired.
