Elector PSP – Poultry Parasite Treatment
 
A concentrated poultry hygiene solution designed to help control external parasites such as mites and lice on chickens.

How it works
Elector PSP is applied externally and remains active on the skin and feathers for up to 48 hours before wearing off. As parasites move across treated areas, they come into contact with the product and are eliminated.
 
How to use
Mix according to label instructions
Transfer to a spray bottle
Apply to vent area and under wings
Lightly mist crested birds if needed
Allow product to work over approximately 48 hours
 
✔ Do not dunk birds
✔ Apply directly to skin and feather base
✔ Treat coop areas if needed after mixing
 
Best Time To Apply
For the least amount of stress and the easiest application, apply Elector PSP after the birds have gone to roost at night. Chickens have poor night vision and are much calmer and easier to handle once settled on the roost, allowing the process to be completed quickly and efficiently.
 
When to use this product
 
Use Elector PSP only when:
Mites or lice have been confirmed
Parasites are visibly present
Birds show clear signs of infestation
 
SCALY LEG MITE USE (if needed)
In mild cases, Chick' N Balm will generally heal and cure scaly leg mites.
 
For severe cases, legs may be treated by mixing as directed and soaking for 10 minutes with Elector PSP, followed by drying and applying Chick' N Balm
 
MITE PREVENTION

Important limitation
Elector PSP is an external parasite treatment only.

It does not:
Treat feather loss as mites do not cause feather loss
Improve feather regrowth directly
Correct nutritional imbalance
 
Feather recovery depends on proper nutrition once parasite issues are resolved.
