Hatching Egg Ordering & Availability
Here at the Ranch, we collect and ship hatching eggs from our select heritage and specialty breeds throughout the spring and summer. To keep orders fair and manageable, all hatching egg purchases are processed through our Hatching Egg Request Form, rather than through the standard add-to-cart store system.

This allows us to:

* Give you accurate fulfillment timelines

How Ordering Works
1. Submit the Hatching Egg Request Form (below)

Once submitted, your request is placed in our first-come, first-served queue.
​
2. Your Request is Added to Our Queue
​
We do not collect payment on the initial request.
​
Your request is placed in line and filled as eggs become available for the breeds you selected.
​
3. When Your Eggs Are Ready
​
You will receive an email with:
​
* Total cost
*Pickup date
* Shipping quote (if Purolator selected)
* Payment link
Once payment is completed, your order is confirmed.

4. Shipping & Pickup Options

Important Notes

* Orders are filled in the order they were received.
* Fulfillment time depends on laying patterns and demand.
* Substitutions may be offered if approved.
* We do not guarantee hatch rates but ship only the freshest, highest-quality eggs.

Hatching Eggs for the 2026 Season
How Our Spring Hatching Process Works
We begin fertility testing as early as February, or as each breed returns to lay (some breeds take a little longer after winter). Once fertility is confirmed, we begin fulfilling orders in the order they were received. Orders will be ready for pickup at that time. Shipping is weather dependent and typically begins in mid to late March.
