Introducing our Welsummer chicks, the perfect addition to your backyard chicken flock!
These charming little birds are a Dutch breed. They originated in the small village of Welsum in the eastern Netherlands and are known for their beautiful dark, Terracotta eggs with a possibility for speckling.
We are currently working towards hatching from eggs with the most speckling. Welsummer hens lay a medium size egg and approximately 160-200 eggs per year.
The Welsummer is a friendly and docile breed, making them a great choice for families with children or first-time chicken keepers.
When many people picture the stereotypical rooster, a Welsummer is what they have in mind--this was the same rooster featured on the Cornflakes Cereal Boxes!

Welsummer Chicks- Straight Run $15 each
There is a 3 chick minimum as chickens are flock animals and need a buddy from the same hatch. All 3 do not have to be the same breed.
Please have a alternative breed chosen, as we can not control the availability of hatch percentages.
