Attention Breeders!! 2026

Add Power to Your Breeding Program

Our WHITING TRUE BLUE line carries the dominant blue egg gene and a barring feather pattern that makes them ideal for producing sex-linked hybrids.

Blue Egg Gene- strong inheritance, premium egg demand.

Pea Comb Advantage- With a 96% genetic link to the blue egg gene, the pea comb means after the first Olive Egger pairing (F1), you will know which hens inherited the blue egg gene based on comb type. No more 50/50 guessing what egg colour she will lay when backcrossing that hen back to a Marans. It will cut out a whole season of waiting for that egg colour.

Barring Gene- Enables easy chick sexing at hatch.

Marketing Advantage- Sell guaranteed pullets, increase profitability.

A breeders tool not found anywhere!

** Just want to clarify, these eggs will NOT hatch sex-linked and not every chick will be barred.**

The barred chicks hatched are used to CREATE sexlinked offspring generation by pairing a barred WTB hen for example with a Marans rooster. Similar to the traditional sexlinked Marans/Cream Legbar except you don't have to wait a whole season when backcrossing the OE back to a Marans to see if she lays an olive or brown egg if you are using an OE with a pea comb, inherited by the WTB.
