Welsummer Half Dozen Hatching Eggs- These charming birds are a Dutch breed. They originated in the small village of Welsum in the eastern Netherlands and are known for their beautiful dark, Terracotta eggs with a possibility for speckling. We are currently working towards hatching from eggs with the most speckling. Welsummer hens lay a medium size egg and approximately 160-200 eggs per year.
The Welsummer is a friendly and docile breed, making them a great choice for families with chicken or first-time chicken keepers.
