Introducing our Olive Eggers Pullets – a solid addition to any backyard flock. These birds are well known for producing distinctive olive -green eggs, a colour created by crossing a dark brown layer with a blue egg layer.
Our pullets are raised on a high-quality diet and managed to ensure they are healthy, well started and ready for your backyard.
With their striking appearance, some resembling a Welsummer-type colouring with a crest, others displaying blue or gold plumage and some featuring beards and muffs. This variation is part of what makes the breed appealing.
They are reliable layers, typically producing 3-5 eggs per week, or approximately 200-250 eggs per year.
Because they are a mixed breed, Olive Eggers can produce a range of egg colours in their offspring and some lines carry genetics that increase the chance of speckling.
Our 6-8 weeks old pullets are generally ready to be added to your existing flock by eight weeks of age.
