Welcome to our poultry farm where we take pride in offering high-quality Copper Marans Hatching Eggs. The Copper Marans originated in France. The breed was developed in the town of Marans.
Our Splash and Blue Copper Marans are known for their beautiful dark, rich brown eggs and are a favorite among egg enthusiasts. On average, the Copper Marans hen will give you around 3 eggs per week, which works out to about 150-200 eggs per year. This may not be as high as some other breeds, but their quality makes up for it. And their eggs are absolutely gorgeous.
Just remember when purchasing Marans eggs, that eggs will be lighter in colour as the laying season progresses. When a Marans pullet starts laying she will lay the darkest brown eggs that is genetically possible for her. As the laying season continues, her eggs get lighter. After a molt or seasonal break, her eggs start out dark again.
Depending on far into the season you receive your eggs will determine the shade they currently are at that time.
