Our 6-8 week old Barred Whiting True Blue Cockerels are an excellent addition to any breeding program focused on building reliable, sex-linked lines. These young roosters carry both the dominant blue egg gene and the barring gene, making them ideal for producing more barred Whiting True Blues within your flock.
 
When pairing with barred Whiting True Blue hens, these cockerels will produce 50% barred offspring-giving you a supply of barred WTB birds. 
 
You would use the barred WTB hens and pair them with a gold colour grouped rooster, (e.g.) blue, black, splash Marans, Welsummer or gold coloured OE rooster, to produce sex-linked offspring.
